School, Huntly, has announced plans for a building expansion to begin in June. Plans call for the construction of a 300-seat auditorium, six new classrooms, locker rooms and library and office extensions. According to school officials the expansion is necessitated by an increasing enrollment, which is expected to reach 100 students in grades 1-8 next year.

The Friends of the Rappahannock
County Library are planning to improve the grounds of the Library by. making it into a small park for a peaceful place to walk or sit during a busy day. Those gifts that are received by the Friends as memorials will be used to establish this park unless otherwise specified.
The Sperryville Antique Market will sponsor a class: “Forestry Basics For The Rural Country Land Owner,” on Saturday, May 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
