ABOUT 80 RIDERS from three states participated in a charity poker run from Winchester to Sperryville last Saturday. Sponsored by American Bikers Advocating Training and Education (ABATE), the ride was a benefit for Mary Kearns Schade, whose husband and two children were killed in a fire in Castleton last Dec. 22. More than $700 was raised, but Mrs. Schade insisted that most of it be left in a memorial fund in her husband’s name to assist future victims.
