"Midwifery in 1992,” a round-table discussion featuring nurses, lawyers, women with home-birth experiences and doctors, will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 12:15 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 in Washington, Va.
The forum is sponsored by the Rappahannock Mothering Cooperative. A small donation is requested of those who are not Mothering Cooperative members. A potluck lunch starts at 11:30 a.m.
Discussion topics include midwives, certified nurse midwives, obstetrical supervision pros and cons, and current legislative trends.
