Services Board, a service of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) sponsored by the board.
Members of the program offer discounts year-round, not just at Christmastime. Each year, the list is updated and new merchants join.
Those over 60 are given a photo identification card making them eligible for the discounts.
Cards are issued the first Tuesday of every month for a voluntary contribution of $2, which is dropped if the senior is unable to pay.

The Rappahannock County merchants participating in the program and their discounts are: Country Cafe, 10 percent off meals; Faith Mountain, 10 percent off merchandise; Hackley’s Store, 10 percent off non-grocery items; and That Sperryville Emporium, 10 percent off sales of $10 or more, weekdays only.
