Evan Carpenter
Evan Edward Carpenter, 39, ol Spotsylvania, died Sunday, Feb. 9 at his residence following a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Carpenter was bom May 24, 1952 in Redwood City, Calif.
He was a draftsman with Kaeser Compressors, a member of Christ Episcopal Church at Spotsylvania Courthouse and a member of Spotsylvania Teachers Association.
Surviving are his wife, Susar Carpenter; two daughters, Elizabeth Carpenter and Rebecca Carpenter, both at home; his father and step-mother, Edward F. and Martha Carpenter, of Grand Junction, Colo.; two brothers, John F. Carpenter ol Craig, Ala. and Daniel W. Carpenter of Grand Junction; three sisters, Amy Sanford, Janet Bradford and Jean Butcher, all of Coloradc and numerous nieces and nephew's.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Christ Episcopal Church in Spotsylvania wit! Rev. David G. Thabet officiating. Interment will be prive.
