It was Super Bowl Sunday minus four and the Rappahannock County Unit of the American Heart Association team won the toss.
They were ready to kick-off on Wednesday evening Jan. 22 at the Flint Hill Fire Hall. The major annual event drew a big crowd of firedup American Heart Association (AHA) team captains, coaches, contributors and fans, including proven veterans from previous campaigns. The AHA team had recruited eight captains all led by “Coach” Candace Lamma, who was confident that our local team would win by a healthy soon.
So, enough of that stuff, although winning the Super Bowl did do our hearts a lot of good. But the continued health of all of our hearts,
