'Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken'
"Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken," starring Cliff Robertson, Gabrielle Anwar and Michael Schoeffling, will be screened at The Theatre at Washington, Va., at both 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16. The movie is the weekly film sponsored by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC).
Note that the afternoon screening has been added since the RAAC movie listings were mailed out.
Set during the. Depression, this inspiring romantic comedy is based on the true story of Sonora Webster, a teen who became an Atlantic City star attraction as a diving horse girl, jumping off a 40-foot tower into a tank of water while astride a horse. A freak accident seemed to end her career, but Sonora's courage and determination proved no obstacle is too large to overcome.
The film is Rated G, appropriate for children and adults. Tickets are $4 for adults, $3 for children.

'Collected Hymns' available
Copies of "Collected Hymns from the 16th to the 20th Century," a new recording by Rappahannock musician Lorraine Quisit, are available at several locations in and near Rappahannock, as well as through the mail from Ms. Duisit.
The tape is the first product of Creative Life, Ms. Duisit's new label with her husband, Tom Espinola, out of their Washington, Va. home.
Some of the music was recorded at the Washington Baptist Church and in The Theatre at Washington, Va. during a recent performance.
Other musicians on the tape include Yvaine Duisit, Freyda Epstein, Don Kruger, and Mr. Espinola.
Sales of a limited number of the tapes are available through the Washington Baptist Church and will benefit the church. Copies are also on sale at Mountainside Market, Cabin Fever Books, Middle Street Gallery and Country Heritage in Washington and New Leaf Bookstore in Warrenton.
