Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly invites the public to the school on Saturday, Feb. 22 to learn about the independent day school.

Parents, children, and other interested persons are invited to attend the open house and testing session from 9 a. m. to noon. Attendees will learn about the curriculum, meet the teachers, take a tour of the school with student guides, and have their questions answered. A continental breakfast will be served. Preregistration is appreciated but not required; call Mary Hope Billings at 703-635-8555 for more information.

Parents who wish their children to take a placement test should have them at the school before 9:30 a.m. Parents of pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children will receive information on the program and may sign up for individual testing to be administered over the next several weeks. Due to the recent addition of another teacher, spaces are immediately available in the pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes.
