Spec. 4 Mark A. Hitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Hitt , of Castleton, has arrived for duty in Hanau, West Germany. Hitt, an automotive mechanic with the 3rd Support Command, was previously assigned at Ford Hodd, Texas. He is a 1979 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
Girl Scout troops in Rappahannock join those across the state and nation in the annual cookie sale campaign, the proceeds of which finance troop activities. The last day that cookie orders may be placed is Monday , February 22. Special programs are financed through these funds as well as normal operating expenses, camps and training programs for all age groups.
