The featured pet this week is a year-old female chow, reddish in color and very friendly. Other dogs available at the Rappahannock Animal Shelter in Amissville this week are a shy 'German shepherd-lab cross female, IV2 years old; a yewold female spanrel cross, black; a male border collie, black and white, about three years old; and six terrier cross puppies, four males and two females. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The lost animal registry can be found in the Classified Section of the Rappahannock News.
