Practices for cost share assistance in the 1992 Cost Share Program are: animal waste control facilities, stripcropping systems, sod waterways, grazing land protection, reforestration of erodible crop and pastureland, stream protection and no-till pastureland and hayland.
Sign-up for the 1992 Cost Share Program is currently underway at your local ASCS or Soil and Water Conservation District Office. The first sign up period will end Jan. 31.

John Viega, a 1991 graduate of Wakefield School, has been named to the Echols Scholar program at U.Va., where he is a freshman. He is the son of Wakefield (Marshall) faculty member Margaret Doyle of Winchester.
