Hazel Bennett Zinn, 88, of { Amissville, died Sunday, Feb. 9 at the Warrenton Overlook Care Cen- ' ter. <
She had been a resident of , Amissville and Rappahannock County for 54 years.
She was bom June 7, 1903 at Philippi, W.Va., the daughter of the late Jacob Henry and Mertie Moats Bennett. She was a member of the Amissville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Curtiss C. Zinn, now a resident of the Warrenton Overlook Care Center; four daughters, Helen Z. Bricker of Columbus, Ohio, Jo Anne Tilley of Fairfax, Nancy Nicholas and Dorothy Hackley, both of Amissville; two sons, Frank R. Zinn of Culpeper anfl Henry W. Zinn of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her son Paul C. Zinn and daughter C. Luerena Zinn predeceased her as well as all three of her brothers, Denzel, Frank and Dari Bennett.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton by Rev. Thomas Everett and Rev. Peter Weems. Interment was in the Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery.
