vely seeking donations for the library’s 2-to-l matching grant from the Libri Foundation’s Books for Children Program.
If the Friends are able to raise the maximum of $350, the Libri Foundation will match it with $700. The library will then receive $1,050 worth of new hardcover children’s books.
This is a marvelous opportunity for the library to add many new books to the children’s collection for very little money. Any money raised for the grant over the maximum allowed will also be used to purchase children’s books. Donations of any size are welcome.
The Mothering Cooperative will have a bake sale in conjunction with the library’s book sale on Saturday, Feb. 15. All monies raised will be donated to the fundraising drive for children’s books.
