Judge Whiteacre helped too, when he refused my request for a furlough for that weekend, by telling me to remember the Real meaning of Christmas.
Actually, it’s only been a few months ago that I found out for myself that the real meaning of Christmas lasts all year. And now that I’ve got all that off my chest, maybe I can be what I’ve always wanted to be, a good writer.
In closing, I would like to propose to offer my experiences to the high school students of any high school that will accept my shameful testimony. I am willing to answer any questions openly and honestly. I owe at least that much.
