She was preceded in death by two sons, Otis Turner Hitt and Richard Edward Hitt; two brothers, Wilmer Smith and Warren Smith; two sisters, Beulah Grigsby and Myrtle Smith and one granddaughter, Betty Lou Hitt.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. Clyde Woodard officiating.
Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers were Michael Hitt, Gary Hitt, John Hitt, Jason Hitt, Richard Hitt and Robert Alton Grigsby.
Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
