Benefit Breakfast Planned

The Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Company will be having a breakfast from 8-11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13. Prices are $5 for adults and children under 6 $3. The breakfast will consist' of bacon, eggs, sausage, gravy, hash browns, pancakes, waffles, coffee, milk and juice. For more information call 937-6051. ;

Children's Book Week

Nov. 14-20 is National Children’s Book Week and the Rappahannock Library invites all parents and children to come “check out” the new books in the children’s collection! A quilt made by homeschooler, Sam Wood will be on display.

CSC Will Not Operate

CSC Transit will not operate on Friday, Nov. 11 in observance .of Veterans Day. CSC Transit is a program of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board.

CSC Transit serves the general public as well as clients of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board in the five coun-, ties of Planning District 9.

Ham and Turkey Dinner

A ham and turkey dinner will be held at Amissville ffre hall from 5-8 p.m. on Nov. 12. The dinner includes ham, turkey, trimmings, dessert and beverage and will cost $8 for adults, $4 for children and children under four are free. Donations will be appreciated.
