We’d like to pay special tribute to all our veterans, many of whom paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Last Sunday Amissville Baptist Church honored all veterans in special services. It was a very moving experience.
In Amissville Baptist Church news, several couples will be attending a Marriage Retreat Nov. 11-13 in Falling Waters, W. Va.
Also, on Nov. 15 the Primetimers Class will be going to Pa.
On Nov. 20 there will be a covered dish dinner following the morning worship service at Amissville Baptist. The Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) will also be having a boat race the same day.
We’re so sorry to report that Mr. Gilbert (“Huk” to his many friends) Dennis has undergone surgery again at Fauquier Hospital. He appreciates your cards and visits.
Mr. McWhirt has returned home from Culpeper Hospital.
