With the introduction of some newer varieties, raspberries can be eryoyable treats in both summer and fall. In fact, unless your area has been caught by an unseasonably early frost, you still could be picking raspberries from everbearing varieties.
The so-called everbearing varieties of raspberries should be considered two-season bearers as each cane produces the first crop in the fall its first year, and a second crop in the summer of its second year.
