Amiss ville United Methodist Women will hold its famous Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.
They will offer their usual fare of crafts, Christmas crafts, fresh pecans (halves and pieces), freshly made apple butter, all types of delicious home baked goods and a white elephant table with special bargains.
Enjoy lunch in a festive atmosphere; several items available.
A first-time offer this year will be hand-painted replicas of by-gone buildings (those taken down when the dual highway was built) as well as churches and stores of the surrounding community.
There will be several oil paintings which are also first-time original painting by Miss Phoebe Green depicting the Amissville Methodist Church as it looked many year ago. .
