Also a special thank you to David Huff at the Country Cajce for always giving us a generous donation toward our dinners and to Mr. Wayne Blosser who cooked the BBQ chicken and did such a wonderful job. They were delicious and a sell out on both weekends. Thanks to all of the Flint Hill Ladies who made those delicious desserts and fixed baked beans. ' Many thanks to those of you who donated quart jars and a very special thank you to Mr. John Allen Atkins of Sperryville and to Mr. Bill Nick Pullen of Washington who let us use their apple butter kettles both weekends.
This was our first time for making apple butter, and through your generous donations, our costs were low. It was a lot of hard work and sleepless hours, but it was worth the profits and the efforts that were made. We hope that we can make this an annual event.
