To the Editor:
The after school 4-H Club at the Child Care and Learning Center along with all of the preschoolers want to thank all of the men and women of Rappahannock who served our country in the service.
Many of us have grandparents and other relatives who fought in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Some of us have family who were in Desert Storm.
It must have been hard to leave your friends and family and go fight in another country so they can have the same rights that we do! «,
We want to thank you on Veteran’s Day and everyday for all of your bravery. I don’t believe I could ever be courageous enough to do what our veterans have done.
I’m glad I never had to say goodbye to may dad ,^nd watch him get on a plane to go to war like my parents had to do when they were children. Please say a prayer for the soldiers that didn’t make it home.
