Agreeing with that assessment, Stonewall-Hawthorne District Supervisors Bob Anderson said, “I really enjoyed the fact that he would wait until he heard everyone else speak before he spoke. He was always a leveling factor on the board. I hate to see him go.”
“He has been a very unselfish public servant and the board will miss his leadership a great deal,” said Hampton District Supervisor Mike Massie. “He’s done an awful lot for Rappahannock County over the years.”
“I don’t look forward to it, that’s for sure,” said Jackson District Supervisor Ron Frazier. “Someone with his experience leaving the board is a definite loss.”
