Hosts were Robert Vermont, Rafael White, James Leake and Douglas White, friends of the groom, of Williamsburg, and Howard Roberts, brother-in-law of the bride, from Lignum.

Out-of-state wedding guests traveled from Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Ga., Oshkosh, Wis., Newport, R.I, New Orleans, La., Dayton, Ohio and Baltimore, Md. Instate guests traveled from Washington, Culpeper, Sperryville, Virginia Beach, Front Royal, Madison, and Gordonsville to attend the festivities.

Pre-wedding showers were given by the bride’s co-workers at Rawls Byrd Elementary School, Williamsburg, by her sister, at the home of their mother in Sperryville, and by the bridesmaids at the Comfort Inn, Williamsburg.

A pre-rehearsal picnic was hosted by the bride and groom at the Katherine House, Hampton University campus.

After a wedding trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Williamsburg.
