Ruth Baumgardner, Susan Hager and Carol Miller served as hostesses. The day’s program, Creative Design and } Mass Arrangement, included four workj shops led by the club’s own talented memf bers. Celine Sirra presented Creative Design, ! Betty Wood presented Line Arrangement, 1 Frances Russell ■ presented Mass Arrangement and Jo-an Getsinger presented Oriental Design. Members learned many useful tips about flower arranging and design including planning, cutting, pruning, use of containers, focal point, rhythm, balance, texture, color, direction of growth and creative use of non-plant material.
