designer’s moods and thoughts. The workshops provided helpful hints for everyone in attendance, from the novice to the expert designer

The Horticulture and Design Exhibit judge from Designer’s Choice in Culpeper, awarded several blue ribbons.

In the Design Exhibit, Class 1. Foliage Fanfare and Class 2. Century 2000, Janet Eastham and Mary Revercomb each received a blue ribbon for their exceptional flower arrangements.

In the Horticulture Exhibit Class 1. Needled Evergreen Shrubs and Class 2. Broad leaf Shrubs, the six members receiving blue ribbons were Mary Revercomb, Joan Getsinger, Ruth Baumgardner, Helen Platt, Celine Sirra and Virginia Scott.

President Lucia Kilby presided over the business meeting that followed the program.

Members are reminded that the next scheduled meeting is March 15. The program will be “It’s for the Birds.” Please call a hostess in advance if you are unable to attend.
