“hilarious” in the same sentence?” For example, there’s a scene where one of the Black actors is portraying a White person who has no problem registering to vote, then nonchalantly retorts, “I’m so glad I’m White.” The play is loaded with many other precious moments like this one.
From this writer, I can only say, “You’d have to see and experience the play for yourself.” Perhaps with a little coaxing, Tinsley and her troupe will be persuaded to ‘play it again’.
