• “Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?” The past week has turned Rappahannock County into a winter wonderland. We hope that all of you had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather from your favorite vantage point, whether inside by the fire or out on a snowy slope.
• The Rappahannock County Public Schools Special Education Advisory Committee will have an Open House on Tuesday, Feb. 1. If you are interested in attending, please call Mrs. Sherry Hamill-Huff, Advisory Chairperson, at 6753848, or Mrs. Helen Williams, Director of Special Education, at 987-8773.
• RCMS teacher, Mrs. Lilo Wolfe, is happy to announce that her class was one of the first 600 entrants to win HBO’s 12-part video series, From the Earth to the Moon, that chronicles the voyages of the Apollo astronauts. The contest was sponsored by “Time for Kids”. In order to enter the competition, students had to write a short response to the question “What makes me want to learn?” We are very proud of these students for taking the initiative to participate in this program.
