It is pretty bad when I have to move my horses and my neighbor must move her cattle each fall to a neighboring farip on a paved road area which discourages road hunters due to being easier for deputies to patrol to keep them from being shot for a deer.
The gentleman who wrote this article to the editor instead should have major concerns for the life safety of our Volunteer Fire and Rescue responders who must use this hazardous road to respond to the Castleton Volunteer Fire Department. They must also use this road many times to respond to life threatening emergency calls where minutes are critical to the ones in need in our community.
In addition, the school bus and children who travel this section are at a very serious risk of injury or possible loss of life • due to the hazardous deteriorating road conditions. As far as! the gentleman suggesting someone take an alternate route being he lives much closer to 522 Boston and Scrabble should consider using this route himself for the sake of life safety of others on our section of Route 615.

Kathy Edwards, careful
in giving advice
I disagree with Marion Sherman of Cincinnati, Ohio. I don’t think it took any “courage” at all for Gary H. Anthes of Arlington to lambaste Kathy Edwards and her practice.
Western medicine, Eastern medicine, isn’t it all just the latest, best guess? Does any one practice have all the answers?
In my experience, Kathy Edwards is not “dangerous.” When I have consulted with her, she has been exceedingly careful to balance the advice of my western doctor with her knowledge of alternative therapies. In fact, she refused to offer any advice until she had all the information. No, that’s not quite true. She did recommend a warm bath. A long, warm bath.
As the tone of her article suggested, Kathy is a woman devoted to education and healing. In my opinion, “courage” would have been shown if either Mr. Anthes or Ms. Sherman had spoken with Ms. Edwards before condemning her and her practice.
