How do prospective couples choose a place? Or a caterer?
Sometimes, it is not possible to separate these options, so it may be easier to consider them at the same time.
But before beginning the process, some basic options should considered. How many guests are expected? What is the budget?
These two absolutely determine the scale of the event.
Who will be paying for it? Sometimes, different ideas and costs may be proposed when it is known that Orphan Annie and her fiance are paying for everything themselves and not Daddy Warbucks.
Couples need to be frank with whomever they are dealing with. If all the “must have” and “Would be nice to have” choices are on the table, it may provide more flexibility in the long run and a more desirable outcome.
A package deal may be more economical than trying to get the best deal from each supplier (hotel, caterer, baker, and so on).
It might be easier on the couple in the long run, too, since they’ll be dealing with only one or two main contacts
