The Rappahannock Boys Basketball teams traveled to Brentsville High School last Friday. The Varsity team led the first three quarters of the ball game, with sharp shooting from Daniel Settle and Ervin Phillips.
The game see-sawed back and forth in the final quarter. The Panthers had the lead with about three minutes to go, when the momentum changed because of some questionable calls.
The Tigers took the lead for good and won the game 49-45. Daniel led the team with twenty points and Ervin had fourteen.
The J.V. Panthers had a tough time against the Tigers. Brentsville won the game 48-17. Jamie Keys led the team in scoring with eight points.
