Clinics scheduled
Five free preseason sessions of girls softball instruction have been scheduled. All girls in Rappahannock County age seven or older are invited and encouraged to attend regardless of league or school affiliation.
Girls may attend any or all of the open sessions which are scheduled as follows: Saturday, Feb. 19 and 26 at the RCHS gym: 3 to 4 p.m., ages 7-12 and 4 to 5 p.m., ages 13 and up.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Feb. 21, 23 and 25 at the RCES gym: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., ages 7-12 and 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., ages 13 and up. Any questions call Paul Gall at 937-5048 or daytime, 540-477-6227.

• Rappahannock Planning Commission to meet on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse. Work session commences at 6:30 p.m. on Villages.
• Rappahannock Board of Zoning Appeals to meet Thursday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse.
