now in Outdoor Education; Lee graduated from VMI and is with Allstate Insurance; and David is a network engineer with the Department of Justice. * These were the only adult Eagles from the county we had information on at press time. The National Eagle Scout Association Committee of the Council is establishing a roster of those currently living in the county so that they may be kept abreast of scout activities and decide whether they might occasionally or regularly lend a hand in areas of their expertise.
Any Eagles who are not currently listed with this committee can become so by contacting the council at 540-662-2551.
Scouting opportunities
There are opportunities available in the Cub Scout Pack and two Boy Scout Troops chartered in Rappahannock County.
Parents and boys (ages 7-10) will be welcomed into Cub Scout Pack 123. They should contact Joe Peregory aft 937-6163 or Walt Longyear at 675-3679. ; Boys 11-17 and their parents should contact Walt Longyear at 675-3679 or Bill Ralston at 675-1038 for Troop 36 at Trinity Episcopal Church or Gary Graves at 635y2D9601 for Troop 200 at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
Adults, with or without boys of scouting age, who would like to help scouting in Rappahannock County are invited to call any of the above leaders who will be most happy to explain current opportunities.
