say that birds are eating Punna Cat Chow. She reported jays, cardinals, titmice, juncos and nuthatches feasting on the high protein food. My first thought was: “I am glad the birds are eating the cat food instead of the cat eating the birds.”
I have heard of jays eating canned dogfood, but birds eating dry catfood is new to me. It may be a somewhat expensive food for birds, but will do them no harm. Keep cats indoors when the ground is covered with snow.
