The week also included a private tour of the White House and small-group visits to a foreign embassy. Students rounded out the week with appointments in the offices of their Senators and Representatives on Capitol Hill.
A nonprofit, nonpartisan civic education organization in its 31 year, Presidential Classroom offers five programs in 2000. These include, the Presidential Classroom Scholars Programs, the Science, Technology and Public Policy Program, the Future World Leaders Summit, the Business and Government Program and the Media and Democracy Program.
