Imbolc Celebration slated
The Smokehouse Winery will host an Imbolc Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb. 20 from 12 to 5 p.m. The Celtic Imbolc celebrates the earliest beginnings of spring and festival of light, warmth and fertility. There will be tasting of European meads and foods inspired by Imbolc for all to enjoy. Also, now available in bottle, our new Traditional mead. An $8 fee includes mead tasting, imbolc foods and a glass of our mead. Please call the winery at 987-3194 for more information and directions.
Youth sought for activity
“Youth Alive” of Amissville invites youth, ages 10-18 years old to meet at the Viewtown Store Saturday night, Feb. 26 from 7:30 to 9. There will be contemporary praise and worship music and awesome Bible teaching.

PTO dinner and meeting set
The Rappahannock PTO will have its first meeting of the year on Friday, Feb. 18 at the Rappahannock Elementary School cafeteria. A potluck dinner will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. The business meeting will be from 7 to 8 p.m. The potluck theme is International. Bring your favorite ethnic dish and be prepared for a culinary journey. The meeting will cover planned activities, expenditures and programs for the rest of the school year. Onsite babysitting will be available for the meeting portion.
