Butler says, “We’re service oriented. Well, if it wasn’t for the customer, we wouldn’t have a business. Every three to four years, if they’re not breaking even, they have to go before a rate commission and ask for an increase. They always ask for exactly what they need.”
“And the next two or three years, try to work with that. If they needed a penny more postage, they wouldn’t ask for five cents more. They only ask for what they actually need.”
And Butler will see to it that operations are efficiently managed at the Washington Post Office.
