Lucian Jenkins

Lucian Edward Jenkins, 75, of Culpeper died Thursday, Feb. 10 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1924 in Rappahannock County to the late Wes Jenkins and Carrie Elizabeth Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins was an avid outdoors man. He was a hard worker who could strike up a conversation with anyone.

He is survived by two daughters, Frances Edwards and Wanda Lee Uber and a son, Dan Edward Jenkins, all of Culpeper.

Additional survivors include four stepdaughters, Linda Clark, Delores Woodward, Beverly Stanley, all of Culpeper and Joyce Martin of South Carolina.

He is also survived by a brother, Bobby Ray Jenkins of Manassas; three sisters, Doris Yowell of Culpeper, Ruth Duncan of Manassas and Lois Menefee of Orange; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 13 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. John L. Miller of Alum Springs Baptist Church officiating.
