Her true calling, she states, was to be a mother and wife. And if you ask any of the people she has “mothered” over the years they will tell you that she is truly the best. She continues to nurture children, whether it be teaching songs at Bible School or 4-H day camp, through her work In the schools, or providing refiesbments and encouragement at piano recitals. Anyone who has the privilege of associating with her is buoyed up by her no-nonsense attitude, couched by her energy, her youthfulness and her eternal generosity. In this week's issue we focused on boy scout activities and accomplishments and with all due respect to the late Mr. Paul Nichols and his many efforts with scouting, the Rappahannock News felt it only appropriate to name his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Nichols as Citizen of the Week as we pay tribute to scouting. If you see Mrs. Nichols in the near future thank her for her efforts on behalf of scouting endeavors.
