Youth program
Shenandoah National park is now accepting applications for its summer Youth Conservation .Qorps (YCC) program.
YCC provides gainful employment and an educational Experience in the conservation of cpr natural and historical heritage.
YCC members work to maintain park trails, roads, buildings and campgrounds while learning about Shenandoah National Park.
This year’s YCC program runs for eight weeks from June 17-Aug. 9. Applicants for YCC crew member positions must be between the ages of 15 and 18.
Applications may be obtained from the Rappahannock High School guidance office or from Shenandoah National Park. Completed applications should be mailed to Kelly Hartsell, YCC Program Coordinator, Shenandoah National Park, 3655 US Highway 211 East, Luray, Va. 22835. Applications must be received by April 26.
