The end of one athletic season brings with it the sadness of an ending, but it also signals the hopes and dreams of the new beginning. So it was this past week as winter sports came to a close for all but one RCHS winter athlete.
A lone wrestler earned a berth in the state tournament, as the varsity basketball team and cheerleading squads’ seasons came to an end. For everyone else, the excitement of spring sports fills the hallways in the athletic department as student athletes prepare for the first week of tryouts and practice on baseball, softball, soccer and track teams.
