However, from questions we receive at the Extension _thce, it is apparent that ®any people are not quite fu* why they are using oils *Prays, and what pests they ■fre effective against. |_ Oils are often used in late Winter as dormant sprays to nil over wintering insect and mite eggs. In the past, most iormulations of oil were sold as dormant oil’, and used primarily during the winter months. These oils were rather heavy, and could injure foliage if sprayed after the leaves emerged.
