It is very important to read and follow labe, directions when using any oil product. There are many brands, and directions can vary considerably. Most will have a set of directions that includes both dormant and growing season uses. The label will also tell what plants the product can be used on, and what pests are controlled. Some plants are sensitive to oil, and these will be listed on the label. Also, most products will have some temperature restrictions and warn against use under high or low temperature conditions.
