Patrick O'Connell, chef and founder of The Inn at Little Washington, will be the guest of honor at a reception on Saturday, March 2, at the Governor's Mansion in Richmond hosted by Governor Mark Warner and First LadyLisa Collis. The reception will celebrate an award which O Connell will receive the following evening from The Chaine des Rotisseur called the Maitre d'Honneur.
Governor Warner has said. The Inn at Little Washington is one of our favorite places to celebrate special occasions. The food, the service, the look and feel of the place, all make it one of Virginia's treasures.
The Chaine des Rotisseurs originated in France where outstanding individuals, often French Consul Generals, Ambassadors and even a U.S. Postmaster General have been honored with the rank of Chevalier d Honneur.
