wrestle in the State Tournament Friday, March 1 at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.
There were 14 schools from four districts at the Regional tournament. Fourteen teams with as many as 13 wrestlers from one school Filled the Orange County gym. And there was Rapp — the smallest team out of 14 with only the “three amigos.”
In the end the Bull Run District reasserted it’s annual dominance over Single “A” Virginia wrestling — Brentsville finished first in the team competition, Strasburg finished second and Clarke was third. The three Rapp grapplers acquitted themselves well as they wrestled hard and earned the smallest team at the tournament a 12th place fin
