At 28 years old, Rachel Bynum and Eric Plaksin of Waterpenny Farm in Sperryville, are half the age of the average Virginia farmer. Youth and optimism alone are not the only factors in their success, however - they both have a clear vision for their farm, were willing to take an unusual risk and work hard to make their vision come alive.
