Clinic will be open March 6
The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local operation of the Fauquier Free Clinic Inc., is currently open on the first, third and fifth Wednesdays of each month. The clinic will be open Wednesday, March 6 and not again until March 20.
Patient registration is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Public Health Department Building. For additional information call 347-0394.
5K run and fun walk set
The fifth annual Epiphany Catholic School's 5K Run and Fun Walk will be held on Saturday. March 23 at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Kettle Club Road in Culpeper. For more information about participating in the run or sponsoring it, contact Loretta Cummings at 829-0965.
Scholarship deadline March 25
Are you interested in working to preserve and enhance Virginia’s precious natural resources? Each year the Culpeper Soil & Water Conservation District awards up to three educational scholarships to students who plan to pursue a career in a conservation-related field. These scholarships are available for eligible students living in the five-county area the Culpeper SWCD serves, consisting of Culpeper, Greene. Madison. Orange, and Rappahannock Counties.
The Virginia Association of Soil & Water Conservation Districts (VASWCD) will also be awarding at least four $1,000 scholarships Call the CSWCD at 825-8591 for an application which must be completed and submitted by March 25.
