Also in regard to animal-shelter concerns, Chairman Latham said he plans to attend a meeting of the Rappahannock Humane Society (RHS) to seek their help in operating a new facility, once one is constructed. Said Vince Hannon, president pro tem of RHS, who attended the supervisors’ meeting: “(Our members) generally feel...our main goal is as a support group...to rally resources and manpower to help the county and help the board.”
