Smithsonian Trip Set Fauquier County Parks and Recreation has scheduled a trip by chartered bus to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, October 13. The bus will leave from Fauquier High School at 9 a.m. and will return to Fauquier High approximately 4:30 p.m. Participants will be on their own to explore any of the Smithsonian’s rune buildings, the Capital, Washington Monument or anything else in the mall area until meeting the bus for the return trip. Registration is limited to the first 46 to register and pay at the Parks and Recreation office, 14 Main Street, Warrenton. For more information call Parks and Recreation at 347-8630.
