Besides the opportunities to learn by doing with projects, 4-H also provides an opportunity for youth to participate in summer camp, in a Share the Fun talent contest, and in other special activities. The Share the Fun contest this year will be held on February 22 and 25. “We see all of our programs as building self-esteem and life skills, as well as leadership for the youth,” Vickers said.
