And indeed on this October 1, with rain four of the last five days, gloomy gray Bkiee squeezing the rainfall and bringing our streams back to life, there are those words in the distance... “Enough is enough.”
The pattern of rainfall amounts in September is almost reverse that of August, most of it coming toward the end. It was a cooler September than last year by 8.2 degrees.
On some of these cooler days another familiar expression surfaced: "This is rny kind of weather.” Chill is in the air. Aroma from burning wood in fire places and wood stoves is bidding summer farewell.
